MAGNIFYING GLASS LENSES can be cleaned with mild dish soap & water or glass cleaner, and a glass lens cloth. Or your shirt, I guess, if you like to live on the edge.
STERLING SILVER can be cleaned with mild dish soap & water. To restore luster, polish with a jewelry cloth (such as Sunshine). For a matte finish, use an ultra fine scuff pad (I like 3M or Dura-Gold) or super fine steel wool (#0000). Do not use harsh chemicals, which can damage your stones and will slowly eat away at your silver & your soul.
BRASS & COPPER can be cleaned with mild dish soap & water. To restore luster, polish with a jewelry cloth (I like Sunshine) or tarnish remover (such as Brasso). For a matte finish, clean with Barkeepers Friend, water & a toothbrush, or you can use an ultra fine scuff pad (I like 3M or Dura-Gold) or super fine steel wool (#0000).
MIND THE GEMSTONES! Soft, absorbent stones such as natural turquoise should be kept dry and away from lotions, oils & creams to avoid color changes. Soft stones showing wear & tear can be polished using a high-shine nail buffer block or chamois.
